Our History

 

In 1939 Bill Berluti Sr. sold his first truck in New Haven, Connecticut.

 

In 1948 Bill Berluti Sr. opens his first dealership in West Haven, Connecticut.

 

In 1975 takes on the Peterbilt Franchise.

 

In 1978 Dick Berluti opens Peterbilt of Connecticut, in Berlin, CT.

 

In 1988 West Haven dealership is relocated to North Haven, CT. What is now Truck Center Inc.

 

In 1994 Peterbilt of Rhode Island is opened in Johnston, RI.

 

In 1997 the Volvo franchise is added to the North Haven, Connecticut branch.

 

Having grown to three family owned and operated full-service dealerships. Two in CT, and most recently our RI branch. We continue to provide our customers with quality parts, sales and service.
